Highlights of this cruise:

Sydney is located on the south-east coast of Australia. It is the largest and most populated city in Australia and the state capital of New South Wales. The city is built on hills surrounding Sydney Harbour where the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Sydney Opera House are located. The region features many bays, rivers, inlets and beaches including the famous Bondi Beach. Within the city are many picturesque parks including Hyde Park and the Royal Botanical Gardens.

The most well-known attractions include the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Other attractions include Royal Botanical Gardens, Luna Park, some 40 beaches and Sydney Tower. The Rocks precinct includes the first colonial village of Sydney and some great shops, cafes and galleries are located here. Sydney also has several popular museums, such as the Australian Museum (natural history and anthropology), the Powerhouse Museum (science, technology and design), the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Mystery Island
Mystery Island is one of the most southern islands of the Vanuatu group. It sits off the bigger island of Tanna on the southern tip of Vanuatu. There are golden beaches, palm trees and a coral reef with thousands of fish.

The island is uninhabited except for the visiting cruise ship passengers who come to swim, snorkel and purchase shells and goods sold by locals from nearby Tanna island.

Apia is the capital of Samoa and part of the Tuamasaga district. The city is located on the northern coast of Upolu Island. It is the nation's major port and only city. It is a little run down but there are good bars and restaurants and a walk along the beachfront is beautiful.

Mulinu'u, the old ceremonial boobtical, lies at the city's western end, and is the location of the Parliament House (Fale Fono) and the historic observatory, which is now the meteorology office. In the center of the city is a clock tower erected as a war memorial. Apia has a mix of modern and early, wooden, colonial buildings, most notably the courthouse, with a museum on the upper floor. The new market (maketi fou) is inland a bit at Fugalei, where it is more protected from the effects of cyclones.

Writer Robert Louis Stevenson spent the last four years of his life in Apia. He is buried on Mt. Vaea, overlooking both the city and the home he built, Vailima, which is now a museum in his honour.

Lahaina is one of the prettiest towns in all Hawaii, with timber-frame buildings, sailing ships bobbing in the harbor, coconut palms and the mountains of West Maui dominating the skyline. Lahaina enjoys dry days with lots of sunshine. Sunsets at Lahaina are unforgettable.

Lahaina is great if you are a beach person, you will absolutely love Lahaina and Kaanapali Beach. Lahaina is an old whaling village turned into a tourist Mecca yet it still retains the flavour of a south seas town.

Lahaina is lively and by Maui standards inexpensive, with a huge range of activities and little rainfall, but above all it's the only town on Maui to offer lodging, sightseeing, nightlife and an abundance of restaurants within easy walking distance of each other. Popular shore excursions include a humpback whale search; Haleakala Crater, so vast it could swallow Manhattan, skyscrapers and all; the heavenly road to Hana and the seven sacred pools.

Los Angeles
Los Angeles, often abbreviated to simply 'LA' is known for its golden beaches, superb surfing and numerous Los Angeles movie stars. Some of the most famous areas of Los Angeles include Hollywood, which is full of movie-related tourist attractions, and LA's Beach district, where you will find Malibu Beach amongst others.

Cruise along Los Angeles' Sunset Strip and Walk of Fame, take a walk along Rodeo Drive, drive past the enormous mansions in Beverly Hills, or explore the more cultural areas of LA, and you will realize why Los Angeles, the 'City of Angels', has become one of America's premier tourist destinations.

Los Angeles has many tourist attractions, including Dodger Stadium, the Walt Disney Concert Hall - CBS Television City - home to major Los Angeles television productions, LA's Hollywood Forever Cemetery - where a number of world-famous Hollywood celebrities have been laid to rest; Los Angeles Zoo, Paramount Pictures - Hollywood's longest running film studios, and LA's famous Hollywood Sign - symbolizing the hopes and dreams of many Hollywood actors.

Other main tourist attractions in Los Angeles include First Interstate World Center - the tallest structure in the area, LA's Watts Towers - one of the most unique and creative landmarks in Los Angles; the Griffith Observatory - an impressive Art Deco observatory built in the 1930s; the Wells Fargo Center, LA's Union Station - featured in many Hollywood films in the 1940s; Crystal Cathedral a striking glass tower, and Elysian Park one of the largest parks in Los Angeles, with many scenic walking trails.
